As part of our school's behaviour policy, we encourage our pupils to be open about how they are feeling throughout the school day. We do this in a variety of ways but one of the strategies that we have found to be highly successful is using the Zones of Regulation. Each zone is titled by a colour (red, yellow, green or blue) and includes a range of different emotions. Ideally, we would want all children to be in the green zone but if they feel that they are in a different zone, then there are different things that they can do to get themselves back to green. We have attached and will continue to upload, a range of resource which should help to regulate your child's emotions and behaviour when at home.
Please feel free to print the Zones of Regulation chart and advertise it in your home where the children can see it
