Speech and Language development
There are many different elements to developing speech, language and social skills successfully; all of which are extremely important and essential to a child's development of communication skills. Consider each area as a building block, if one area is missing or not as strong as expected then this can have an effect on the rest of the key skills. We have attached a picture of the Speech and Language pyramid, so that you can see which elements form your child's speech and language development. 
As a parent or carer, if you are worried about your child's speech and language development or level of communication skills, then please speak to your child's teacher or contact Ms Treacy, through the school's office.
