Our vision for Early Years is to create an inclusive environment that sets the foundations of all learning through play and high quality opportunities, whilst respecting children’s cultures and celebrating diversity.

At Henry Green, we have a different focus topic each half term to inspire, intrigue and excite our children, while giving them the opportunities they need to develop and learn. Have a look at our topics below!
Working with parents
At Henry Green, we feel that it is important to build good relationships with our parents and work together to shape your child's learning and development.
Throughout the year, parents are invited to take part in virtual parent workshops led by our EYFS Phase Leader, to support parents understanding of the learning taking place in school and how they can continue this learning at home. The workshops can be found below!
We have launched the new communication tool 'Evidence me' this year, which allows us to share photographs and observations of your child in school. Parents are able to share home learning with us as well! Download the 'Evidence me' app directly to your phone or tablet, and you can share photographs, videos and comments with the school securely. When home observations are shared, teachers can add their own comments and feedback for parents to read. We hope you enjoy 'Evidence me' as much as we do!
*Unfortunately we will not be able to invite parents to any stay and learn sessions this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will continue to review this throughout the year and look forward to being able to welcome parents into our classrooms again when it is safe to do so. The health and wellbeing of our staff, pupils and families is our priority*
