Happy new year! It may not be the start of the year that we all hoped for, but we will continue to do our best to be positive and carry on learning at home - We hope to all be back together as soon as it is safe to do so!
Due to the governments most recent announcement, unfortunately school will be closed until after the February half term. Children may attend school if they come under 'critical workers' or 'vulnerable' categories. If you require your child to attend school, please contact the school office by 3pm on 06.01.21. All year groups will be providing home learning from 11.01.21, if you need a printed pack or support with this please contact the school office.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Reception parents - Unfortunately due to a confirmed case of covid-19 within the school, the 2 Reception classes are being asked to self isolate for 14 days as a precaution. Home learning activities will be shared on the school website and demonstrations on our Youtube channel. Hopefully everyone has now downloaded the 'Evidence me' app and activated their account - this will allow you to send photographs, videos or comments of your child's learning to us. The teachers will then add feedback/comments to 3-5 of your parent postcards sent through 'Evidence me'.
To help reduce the spread of Covid-19, we are conducting our parents evening by telephone this year. You will receive a call from your child's class teacher on either Tuesday 13th October between 3.45-6.30pm or Wednesday 14th October between 3.45-6.30pm. Please note that this call may be from a withheld number, if we are unable to get through then we will try to call again later in the week.

On Monday the school is expanding to allow children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 to attend along with the children of Key workers. Due to Covid-19 safety procedures and social distancing measures set in place by the government and our own local authority, parents must contact the school to make arrangements if they wish to return (This is not compulsory and you can choose to keep your child at home, we will continue to provide home learning until the summer holidays). Children will be grouped into classes of up to 8 children called a 'bubble' and will not be allowed contact with anyone outside of that bubble, some children may not be in their usual classroom or with their usual teacher. The way we are able to teach in EYFS will look quite different to the children, we will have a strong emphasis on social distancing, hygiene and individual resources for learning. All staff will continue to make the EYFS school experience as fun, rich and engaging as possible through this challenging time.
