I am the current Chair of the Governing Board, having been with Henry Green Primary Governors for nearly five years. I come from a teaching/ Headteacher background. I spent all my career in Newham but trained in Barking and Dagenham schools, so am delighted to be back. My educational interests include Creative Arts, Inclusion and working with all sectors of the school community.
My name is Sakinah Rumjaun I come from a nursing background caring for adults and children, I have a special interest in SENCO, maths, English and art but take a interest in all aspects of learning across the curriculum. My son is currently in year 3 at Henry Green Primary.
I have been a member of the Governing body at Henry Green since 2014 and I currently hold the position of Vice Chair. I have worked in a primary school in Newham since 1988. My particular interests within education are centred around fostering positive behaviours within school and Safeguarding.
I have been with Henry Green Primary Governors for around a year and a half now. I come from an Investment Banking/Insurance Risk Governance Background. I spent my later educational years in a private boarding school outside of London, but attended Primary school within Barking & Dagenham and have been a resident of the borough since birth; hence I am delighted to be able to attempt to give children the same firm educational foundation that I received as a child within the borough. My educational interests include English (as I write books in my spare time), Maths and the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry & Physics).
My name is Martin Nicholson and I have been a governor at Henry Green Primary School for almost four years. I have been Head teacher at Grafton Primary School since 2012 and Head teacher of Grafton Junior School for three year previous to the amalgamation of the Infant and Junior Schools. Grafton Primary work closely with Henry Green as part of the PACE Trust
I am a Year 4 Class Teacher, Phase Leader and Curriculum Lead at Henry Green Primary School. I joined the school in 2013 and have seen the school develop to become the good school it is today. I am very proud of working at Henry Green and believe we are a school made up of fantastic children and staff.
